The Hira Group started the production of Ferro Alloys through a small Electric furnace route and expanded its process by establishing Hira Ferro Alloys Ltd. It later installed two Steel Rolling Mills followed by Sponge Iron and Power Plants and a coal beneficiation unit. Soon it ventured into high definition Integrated Iron, Steel manufacturing plants, and power generating units.
The group has been working in eight major business sectors of Sponge (DRI), Steel, Power, Ferroalloys, Cement, Coal Washery, Pellets, and Mining. In 2009-10, it generated remarkable revenue of $440 Million.
There are 13 of its companies running all across India. It has reached several industrial milestones, such as Coal-based Power generation units for their individual Ferro Alloy plants and Wire Drawing facilities. Its value-added products are manufactured in specialized plants operated by a force of well-equipped and highly trained employees.
